You’ve probably heard the song Crazy by Gnarls Barkley, but have you ever paid attention to the lyrics? It’s a very up-beat song, which makes it easy to kind of miss out on them. The lyrics have always touched a weak spot with me, I’ve always related so much to them, and I guess if you really listen to what he is singing, it’s self-explanatory why. But I feel like you really need to listen to some slower, acoustic versions of the song to really appreciate the lyrics and the song itself, so I thought I’d share some of these versions with you.

Another song that I had that problem with was Hey Ya! by Outkast. It’s so upbeat, it’s gotta be a happy song, right? When I heard a different version of it, I realized that it’s actually quite sad song about relationships and how difficult they can be. Who would have thought? Here are the links, if you are interested in checking it out.

Fun fact: if you’re a fan of the TV- series Scrubs, you’ve probably heard The Blanks before, but you’d probably know them by the name The Worthless Peons, because that is what they are called in the show. Yes, I am talking about Ted’s band! They are real!
